Madison Auto Trim is started by Ron Stevens. Ron is a one-man show for years! He would stock his van with all the tools to provide door-to-door services and install over 10,000 sunroofs!

The first retail location opens a few blocks off the capitol on East Washington Avenue. Madison Auto Trim takes over all the detailing services for all the Don Miller locations. Retail detailing and sales begin.

Don Miller opens a new west side location and Chad Stevens becomes General Manager of all detailing.

Madison Auto Trim moves into its current 18,000 square foot location off High Crossing Blvd. Tim Stevens becomes General Manager of the East Location. Services expand to body repair, painting, vehicle accessories, and MAT now has a retail showroom.

MAT Spray-in Bedliners are started and become a daily staple next to rustproofing and detailing.

Website is developed. Sales and dealer accounts continue growing, along with our retail customer base.

MAT starts working with IAS and starts offering several new electronic product lines to its service menu.

Dealer accounts grow rapidly. Shuttle drivers and 10 fleet cars are added to service the dealer accounts.

MAT has grown to servicing hundreds of car dealer accounts, construction companies, and city municipalities, and has a large retail customer base.

(COVID begins) The dark years. All dealerships MAT service run out of inventory, creating a major struggle for survival. New partnerships are forged and Madison Fleet Works and Boat Works of Madison are founded.

The dark years end.

Inventory returns to dealerships and Madison Auto Trim makes a comeback in vehicle protection services. Boat Works has tripled it's revenue every year since launch. Madison Fleet Works creates new partnerships with the City of Madison.
